These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of MOTRYN (the "App"), a mobile application published by Christopher Pallant, trading as IamPalski ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
01The App
MOTRYN helps you keep track of the vehicles you own — service and repair history, MOT and tax dates, running costs, documents and a shareable vehicle passport. The App is an organisational tool: reminders, estimates and vehicle-health indicators are provided for convenience only and are not a substitute for professional inspection, servicing or legal obligations such as keeping your MOT, tax and insurance valid.
02Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
03Purchases & subscriptions
The App may be free to download and may offer optional in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock additional features.
- Prices are shown in the App and on the App Store at the point of purchase and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies — we do not process payments or refunds directly.
04Your content
You retain ownership of the vehicle details, records, receipts, photos and documents you add to the App ("Your Content"). You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for keeping your own copies of important documents. If you share a vehicle passport with someone else, you are responsible for choosing what you share and with whom.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- add content that is unlawful, misleading or that you do not have the right to use (for example, records for a vehicle you do not own or manage);
- interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems; or
- use the service in any way that could damage, disable or impair it.
06Third-party data
Some vehicle information may be retrieved from third-party data sources. We do not guarantee that this information is complete, accurate or up to date, and you should verify anything important with the relevant authority or provider.
07Availability
We aim to keep the App working and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or withdraw the App (or features within it) at any time.
08Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
09Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
